The History of Flex Data Solutions

As professionals in the Health and Human Services Industry, Mr. Kent Henderson and Dr. Mark Hopper frequently found shortcomings and frustrations with archaic record management systems. The more they discussed quality improvement topics with their colleagues, the more they realized that this was an industry-wide problem.  In fact, colleagues continually attributed resource waste and risk liability issues to inefficient patient record management systems.As consultants working with multiple organizations, they saw agencies spend well over six figures on record management software products that were completely unworkable. With Dr. Hopper’s management experience and Mr. Henderson’s computer programming background, in combination with their field experience, they began creating record management software for large and medium-sized organizations under the name Henderson Hopper and Associates.  In 2007, they founded Flex Data Solutions, Inc., with the intent of creating a software solution that focuses first on the patient.   The company's mission is to outfit health and human service organizations, both large and small, with a digital record solution that is results driven and cost effective, while maintaining a level of customer service unsurpassed in the industry. Henderson and Hopper understood that their software needed be flexible enough for the ever-changing environment of both the human services industry and highly regulated health care organizations. Additionally, the system needed to be powerful enough to handle any agency customizations, however complex, while still being affordable.
